crusie to the bahamas part one

About 5 or 6 years ago my parents and I went on a cruise around the Bahamas. We ported out from New York which I have talked about in an earlier blog. I remember pulling up to the place where we were docking and seeing the biggest cruise ship I have ever seen. My mom told me that I was the biggest cruise ship that carnival has until recently they built a new bigger one. To get your baggage and to show your pass port and all that good stuff takes hours to be done. That to me is the worst part of the trip. By the time we get on the ship we only have like 30 minutes till we have to do this thing called mustard. Which is like a thing were they show what to do if something wrong happens on the ship and that also takes about an hour.

After that you can do what ever you want on the ship. That is my favorite part of cruises. It is like having so much freedom; you can eat a nice meal at anytime and do anything on the ship at any time. Being on the ship is like being on a boat that has a little city on it. And there is so much that you can do on the cruise too. In the beginnings of when you are on the ship you get lost real easily and on this cruise ship i was lost for almost an hour. I finally found the front deck to ask how to get back.

One of the fun things to do on the ship was to get dressed up for dinner and having a fancy dinner every night if you wanted one. On this cruise we had the same waiter every night he was really nice. Him and my dad use to joke a lot it was cool. And through out the there were a lot of show that you can watch through out the day like magic show, music and theatre shows, and comedy shows. I like the comedy ones the most because I love to watch comedy acts. The magic shows are pretty fun too. On this cruise ship they had a huge art gallery that had amazing pictures in it I really enjoyed walking through it. This cruise ship had three or four pools on it and a water slide. on the top floor it had a huge club for kids just to hanging out and next to it a smaller like dance club, which was still pretty big, for older people. One of the bad things about the trip is that it feels like it goes by to fast. I am always sad about going home because ill miss being on the cruise. Going on cruises are probably the most fun trips I have been on. On the next blog ill talk about the islands that we went to on the cruise. This trip was a very memorable vacation to go on with my family.
