skateboarding 101

I have been skating for about four or five years now. Late I have not been going out to skate because the group of friends that I have been hanging out with kind of stopped skating, but I still love it. The first time I have ever got on to a skateboard I was at my cousin’s house. He had a skateboard in the garage and I went out side with it. At that time he had just began to skate too but he was able to Ollie. Within the first day I was able to Ollie. Since then I have not got off a board. My first board was a cheap big five board because I had no clue about anything to deal with skating. It is weird going to the skate park now looking at all the little kids skating. When you first go to the skate park you don’t really know anything like, you don’t know to stay out of people’s lines and to watch out for other people.

Watching other people’s skate videos is a big part of skating if you want to improve. Watching a good skate video can give you motivation to go out and skate. When I first started skating I only knew the famous people that skate like tony hawk Rodney Mullen and so on, but now I think I watched almost every video on Youtube about skating and I know about every skate team.

I remember trying to Ollie my first 4 stair which is easy now but then I was pretty scared. All my friends were like come on you can do it. And that’s what I like about skating, that it all up to you. You have complete control for what you are doing. And you always have your friend there to back you up. *<]:')
